This is a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Director looking for a fresh challenge at a small but growing agency based in West London.

Key responsibilities would include:
Review current plan and then manage all aspects of the Agency's new business acquisition strategy (primarily focusing currently on the intermediaries and self generated leads).This includes:

Creating prospects lists and managing
Communicating with the above via, letter email or telephone
Arranging credential presentations
Being present at industry events
Looking after all agency print and TV promotional material
Dealing with the AAR and other similar companies
This is a role that would suit someone with a media sales background looking to shift into a new industry.

The Agency

Senior Account Manager required for one the fastest growing specialist through the line agencies. With a strong portfolio of FMCG clients they are proving very buoyant in this economic climate. 

The Role

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering on and off line marketing programmes for one of the UKs premium drinks brands. They will work into the team Account Director. Exceptional client services and strong strategic development skils are required for this role.

 Essential Experience (please do not apply unless you can tick all of the below):

At least 4 years agency experience (and 6 months at SAM level) at a leading BTL agency

Broad experience of Sales Promotion activities (and ideally a related qualification).

Experience of working on luxury/premium brand

Experience of working on drinks brands

This is a great opportunity to get on the career ladder for a junior or post graduate marketeer at one of the UKs clothing retailer. This is an exciting and rare client side opportunity to work within their Marketing department in a Junior Customer Insight role.  The ideal candidate will have a research background with sound experience of working within a research department or a graduate with a Marketing related degree.  The role demands a strong team player who is able to work on their own initiative with enthusiasm often with limited supervision, have good organizational ability and communication skills and thrive in a fast paced environment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage information and data from a variety of sources,  analyse and interpret the data to provide customer insight to the business
  • Act as a key contact to facilitate delivery of consumer, market share and competitor analysis
  • Drive internal customer insight programme
  • To plan, commission and execute pricing and range surveys to keep abreast of this retailers position within the market place and key competitive set
  • To drive a consumer awareness programme of customer listening groups to identify insights which help drive and shape the strategic direction of the business, representing the voice of the consumer, driving the passion for consumer insight
This role is for 3 days a week starting immediately for 9 - 12 months based in Leicestershire.

JOB TITLE : Senior Planner

DEPARTMENT : Planning

Role Summary :
To lead the day-to-day planning primarily on the account – both B2C and B2B. To contribute ad hoc across a range of blue-chip (predominantly FMCG) clients; to work on new business as required; and channels from digital, to relationship marketing, to promotional and experiential marketing.

Reporting To :
Planning Director


Key Responsibilities :
Communication strategy development; improve & apply audience understanding; design and manage research projects; support the creative brief and creative development; help identify & unlock strategic, creative & brand opportunities; input to channel planning; ability to work alongside other roster agencies (eg media, advertising and brand) and be a respected contributor; owning the measurement and evaluation on their brands through to awards entries; pitch planning - including developing pitch strategy and presenting.

Project Knowledge :
Experience of planning digital campaigns is a must, planning on experiential and RM programmes would be highly valuable too; ideally the candidate will be able to point to awards won or contributed to.

Experience Required :
Established experience as a planner, ideally from an integrated agency background, with digital experience.

Required Skills :
Creative Planning: Identifying suitable insights and incorporating them into creative briefs. Working effectively with the creative team;
Comms Planning: Developing Segmentations and Targeting strategies;
Quant and Qual research design and management; Analysis of campaign and behavioural data; Ability to get under the skin of consumer data sets
ideally, the candidate will be able to point to relevant basic training courses such as APG or IPA.


Salary Scale : to £60k
