JOB TITLE : Senior Planner
DEPARTMENT : Planning
Role Summary : To lead the day-to-day planning primarily on the account – both B2C and B2B. To contribute ad hoc across a range of blue-chip (predominantly FMCG) clients; to work on new business as required; and channels from digital, to relationship marketing, to promotional and experiential marketing.
Reporting To : Planning Director
Key Responsibilities : Communication strategy development; improve & apply audience understanding; design and manage research projects; support the creative brief and creative development; help identify & unlock strategic, creative & brand opportunities; input to channel planning; ability to work alongside other roster agencies (eg media, advertising and brand) and be a respected contributor; owning the measurement and evaluation on their brands through to awards entries; pitch planning - including developing pitch strategy and presenting.
Project Knowledge : Experience of planning digital campaigns is a must, planning on experiential and RM programmes would be highly valuable too; ideally the candidate will be able to point to awards won or contributed to.
Experience Required : Established experience as a planner, ideally from an integrated agency background, with digital experience.
Required Skills : Creative Planning: Identifying suitable insights and incorporating them into creative briefs. Working effectively with the creative team; Comms Planning: Developing Segmentations and Targeting strategies; Quant and Qual research design and management; Analysis of campaign and behavioural data; Ability to get under the skin of consumer data sets ideally, the candidate will be able to point to relevant basic training courses such as APG or IPA.
Salary Scale : to £60k

We are currently looking for account handlers with solid digital experience to fill a number roles at some top digital London agencies.
Working across a broad range of digital technologies, the right candidates will have a broad understanding of digital advertising and would be able to hit the ground running within a faced paced environment. Working across multiple projects with multiple clients the candidate would also need to have a good strategic skills and a level of creative understanding.

Group Account Director - Top London Digital Agency - £70-75k
Group Account Director
We are looking for a Senior Account Director that has both classical agency training and at least 2 years working experience within a digital environment. This role is at a well known digital communications company. They are looking to upgrade their account handling resource and needs someone to manage, train and work within this extremely busy environment across a mix of accounts.
It is envisage that within 6 months this role will lead to promotion to client services director.
Salary: £70-75k + bonus

Mid Weight Digital Planner - £50k
We are working on behalf of a leading integrated London agency who are looking for a mid-weight Strategic Planner with specific previous experience in digital planning; in particular digital content and digital media strategy development. They must be brand-centric in outlook; able to think in an integrated, media neutral way.
They must be mature enough to work autonomously, without daily direction from the Planning Director. Plus they should be comfortable working on a project basis across the Agency's Client base but also on new business. Inevitably this will mean quickly adapting and adding value to many different account teams.
The ideal candidate will help maintain the agency's strong reputation for strategic rigour and help promote and optimise original, creative thinking. They will need to be bright, perceptive, dynamic, and down-to-earth. This is a very sociable and close-knit agency.
Th right candidate will work into the Planning Director and be supported by the agency insight team.
Over time it is envisaged that this person would work across the agency's business.
Key responsibilities would include:
Gathering of all relevant insight for strategic development Market-place, competitor set, brand and consumer review Commissioning research and conducting qualitative research Development of communication strategies, creative and media briefs Ensuring clear objective setting and evaluation to prove the agency's effectiveness Development of targeting and brand strategies, with greater support from the Planning Director Sharing of Digital expertise within the agency Internal training as to best practice digital planning Act as an in-house digital expert for project management and creative Assist agency management and assessing digital media or creative partners Salary: £50k + benefits
