    One of London's top Healthcare Agency's is looking for a General Manager. By that we mean someone to work alongside the Managing Director to help us manage the growth of the agency in a way that means they can keep up the good work creatively and continue serving clients to their own highly attentive standards.

    You’d be responsible for the day-to-day running of the agency. You’d be responsible for the recruitment, training and progress of staff. You’d be responsible for financial reporting as well as keeping us all in line with the business plan.

    Basically, you’d be responsible.

    But that’s okay, because you’re bright, with loads of agency and healthcare experience. You’re very commercially minded and you’re ready to run a business like this.

    Salary: approx £80k depending on experience

  • Senior Account Executive - Healthcare

    SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

    To be the day to day contact on allocated areas of accounts, on both an internal and external basis, delivering an efficient, effective and profitable service. To control and progress jobs through the Agency system, keeping all departments and individuals fully informed. Responsible for developing an in depth understanding with regard to a clients business; products, customers, competition, problems and opportunities and for using that information to exceed their expectations.

    Global Director of Agency and European Creative Director

    KEY SKILLS

    • Able to understand and explore client needs
    • Creates and delivers financial projections as required by the process
    • Effects the creative process; design, development and execution
    • Collaborates with internal partners to ensure effective delivery of clients needs

    MAIN DUTIES

    1. Proactive Management of Client's new business target client list. Management of CRM programme of new business prospects together with external sales team.
    • Preparation of weekly account status reports
    • Maintain presence of new documents and new business activity posted on the Global Agency growth site.

    2. Information distribution to Account Healthcare GM’s.
    • Data monitor reports
    • Information gathering from all markets for incoming client RFI’s and RFP’s

    3. Reactive support for RFP’s and pitches; streamline and coordination of pitches.
    • Organisation of pre-pitch information flow
    • Internal briefings of key team members
    • Secretarial support of RFI documents and pitch presentations

    4. PA support for CGO and European Creative Director - booking travel and meetings.

    5. Self Development
    • Proactively pursue self development opportunities within the Account Group
    • Proactively identify opportunities to own and lead specific projects, and contribute to internal and external briefings and presentations.
    • Assume joint responsibility with Line Manager for regularly reviewing performance and personal development

    In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties as assigned by their Manager from time to time.

    EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

    • Relevant Account Management experience with focus on new business opportunities
    • Excellent computer skills; Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF, Microsoft Manager
    • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
    • Relevant Healthcare experience preferred

  • Account Manager - Healthcare

    A leading London Healthcare Agency seeks solid Account Manager.

    The Account Manager is responsible for fully supporting the Account Director on all accounts on which they work. The Account Manager is also responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of smaller accounts with minimal assistance from an Account Director.

    1. Production co-ordination

    - Opening new job bags and keeping job bags up-to-date
    - Collating relevant information for new jobs
    - Liaising with production controller
    - Liaising with suppliers and preparing purchase orders
    - Liaising with creative regarding photography / illustration
    - Preparing estimates for clients
    - Progress monitoring – creative, artwork and print
    - Copy checking – including checking references
    Sourcing
    - library materials
    - brand reminders (with production)
    - obtaining relevant and up-to date clinical papers
    Preparing for and attending run-through meetings (advising team on presentation dates etc.)

    2. Administration

    - Status reports – send to client on weekly basis
    - Production schedules – especially with tight deadlines
    - Meeting / telephone contact reports – within 2 working days of meeting
    - Preparing reference / day files and keeping up to date
    - Responsible for filing / archiving job bags once finished
    - Preparing monthly report with Account Director

    3. Updating on therapy areas – reading journals, trade press etc.

    4. Client liaison

    - Taking client briefings
    - Attending client meetings
    - Progress monitoring

    Account servicing
    - this involves personal organisation to ensure deadlines are achieved
    - effective planning to ensure the whole team including clients are aware of timings and schedules

    5. Creative dept. liaison

    - Preparing creative briefs with Account Director input
    - Briefing creative team on all jobs and ensuring that all work is ‘on brief’
    - Providing feedback to creative team following client meetings
    - Ensuring that creative dept are aware of production schedules

    6. New business

    We are frequently asked to pitch for new business. Each pitch is allocated to a particular account handling team based on experience in therapy area, current workload etc. The account team will be responsible for coordinating all pitch activities and putting together an agency presentation.

    7. Financial responsibility

    Ensuring that all jobs are profitable for the agency
    Forecasting monthly billing with Account Director

    8. Career objectives

    To be proactive with clients – clients always want their agency to be proactive, especially when the account is going through a quiet period
    To attend client meetings, when appropriate, without an Account Director
    To attend a presentation skills course & PAGB course
    To gain more experience at pitch level and provide strategic and tactical input
    To gain more experience at briefing on a campaign level. Attend IPA briefing course if appropriate.
    Successfully handle one or two smaller clients single handed with limited Account Director involvement.

    This would lead to promotion to Senior Account Manager.

  • Senior Account Director - Healthcare

    This position includes overall responsibility for the management and growth of a number of the agency’s ethical and OTC accounts and the overall growth of the agency's business.

    In addition to adopting overall management of specific accounts you will also be responsible for the line management of other members of the client services team.

    We would also expect you to be involved in new business opportunities when they arise.

    General Responsibilities
    • Act as a senior representative of the agency
    • Develop client/agency relationships to earn respect and trust
    • Presenting agency work in a clear, persuasive way
    • Ensure team members are aware of, and adhere to agency procedures and best practice
    • Contribute towards managing the resource within the client services team
    • Long term project planning; working with the production controller to develop long-term WIPs to ensure resource is in place & projects timings are planned efficiently
    • Manage team that report to you
    • Recruitment of new people as appropriate
    • Monthly forecasts and updates to report to agency management team
    • Ensure contracts are negotiated and in place for existing and new clients
    • Negotiation of fee and artwork rates with new clients
    • Proactively look for ways to improve the agency’s processes, agree and launch any changes to wider team
    • Contract negotiation for all active accounts
    • Scope of work negotiations with existing clients
    • Responsible for regular client/agency reviews & follow up on all active accounts
    • Cover for other members of the client services team when they are absent


    Account Management Responsibilities
    • Overseeing projects and ensuring clients receive status reports, contact reports, monthly reports etc.
    • Preparation of creative and small job briefs & guidance to account managers to develop these
    • Actively drive client activity if appropriate and suggest strategic and tactical solutions to their marketing objectives
    • Prepare budgets and estimates for fees and production on your clients and billing at appropriate time
    • Ensure overall profitability of accounts


    New Business Developments Responsibilities
    • Developing existing clients
    • Use contacts / database to follow up leads and create new opportunity – once strategy agreed with new business team
    • Oversee and manage pitches
    • Create PR for the agency (articles, comment)
    • Develop partnerships (e.g. other agencies)

    This is a unique opportunity for and established AM who is looking to join one of London's top Healthcare advertising agency's.

    In joining this agency as an Account Manager, you will become part of a specific account group. The accounts that would work on are to be confirmed but will be within one account group and therefore you will ultimately report to the GAD.

    As an AM, you will have responsibility for the day to day running of your accounts. You will be expected to have an appreciation of the overall strategic direction of the brand and to attend face to face client meetings/briefings/presentations of creative ideas and tactical plans. In house, you will have responsibility for managing the flow of work for campaign materials, evaluating creative and providing constructive feedback to ensure work meets with its objective.
